Spice Girls have just announced that they will scrap plans to tour Australia. Australian Fans are not happy that they weren’t included in the Spice Girls Tour, which was announced over the weekend. The Spice Girls reported that it was due to “family and personal commitments.”.. The Spice Girls have also scrapped tour appearances in several other places and will finish their tour February 26.The Spice Girls rejoined and went on their comeback tour, December last year. The Spice Girls consists of Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, Melanie Brown and Victoria Beckham. The Spice Girls extended their US and UK tour through January and there was going to be a Sydney show in late January. Apparently they have suggested they might return to Australia in April, but that depends if they extend any other plans they have prioritized. Many Australian Fans have expressed their anger on popular Spice Girls site spicegirls.co.uk, with many downbeat responses. "As far as I am concerned, they have just lost another fan. So much for girl power." Fans are also heading to Social Networking Websites, such as Myspace and Facebook, creating groups to invite members to “Spice Girls Suck” The group said their was a huge demand for tickets in the US and the UK, which would have outweighed a small country like Australia. There is also rumour that there was friction between band members.
